Readability for iPhone and iPad is coming March 1.

The company’s native iOS app has been inexplicably caught up in App Store review hell for far too long, so for a while now we’ve been stuck with (admittedly good) third-party clients like Reeder and Longform, or a capable, though still web-hindered, HTML5 app.

Is it strange quoting myself in a post? Maybe. But who cares? Readability is finally coming to the iPhone and iPad!

8:16 p.m. They don’t have a seat assignment for me, so a nice lady named Haley with an iPad and a headset puts me in G-2-29. I’m in the second row! Is that good or bad? I feel like it could be worse. There is a serious-looking fashion person next to me when I sit down. She says “Bonjour,” and I laugh, which is rude.

8:18 p.m. Waiting, trying to look normal. I take notes in a notepad so people assume that I am an important and unsuspecting street-style blogger. I have not warmed up from the Moncler show yet. My legs are that type of cold where maybe I peed myself but there’s no way to be sure.

8:24 p.m. There is a beautiful and stylish mom across the runway. Her 6-year-old is a vision. He’s got messy blond hair and is wearing an ascot, blazer and striped socks. He’s eating a mozzarella stick, and he offers some to his mom. Where did he get those? Is he taunting me? He’s barely out of diapers, better dressed than me and in possession of mozzarella sticks. I’m a grown man and I should have those whenever I want. I hate him.

After some amazing number crunching I’ve come up with a solution to our nation’s budget woes. It’s simple really. Of all the things I Just circled cut them down to 25% of the 75% in cuts take 25% of that send it to NASA. Problem solved. For every 1 dollar spent on NASA the nation reaps 10 dollars in benefits both economic and research and development oriented. Want better, smarter, safer healthcare thats accessible to all Americans? Simple pay NASA. Want a strong defense, simple complete the Missile Shield and PAY NASA. Social Security, Forgeddabout it. Just put money into NASA and the healthcare and other advances in food production, medicine, etc… means people will be able to work longer, and an increase in Science and Technology spending in the classroom means… smarter citizens that will privately invest rather than rely on Social Security for retirement.

Photographer James Appleton, 23, from Cambridge, risked his life trekking solo to the area and captured these incredible shots. The Cambridge University graduate spent five days observing the first phase of the eruption from a shack in nearby Fimmvorouhals mountain pass. He spent seven hours battling biting wind and freezing temperatures to get as close to the eruption as possible, against the advice of local guides. Despite being trapped inside a shack there for 48 hours, Mr Appleton managed to trek within 100ft of the volcano.
