The Beatles Are Not A History Making Announcement
Literally 0 people care about The Beatles being on iTunes. I love iTunes I do thats why I was excited for something awesome but the last hold out in the 21st century being on iTunes is not amazing, awesome, or exciting. Before this day you could still buy The Beatles music and more importantly you could still rip it into iTunes and get it on your iPod.
Lets just get something straight The Beatles are not that great. Just because something was really great years ago doesn’t make it great now and it sure as hell doesn’t make it a “classic”. A classic is something that universally speaks to the origin generation and all generations going forward in mass appeal. The Beatles don’t.
Apple announcements are supposed to change the world, they’re supposed to move us forward technologically. This “special announcement” doesn’t. At least they got one thing right, I wont forget this day. Because it’s so pathetic and lame.
