President Obama, in a speech today in Osawatomie, Kansas.

“Rebuilding” the middle class, while an obvious goal, is a threat to those with power and money. They are never going to “give” anything, you have to go out and get it. If not, the ultra-rich and ultra-connected will just take more and more.

We did not become the lone super-power, an “exceptional” country, with “you’re-on-your-own” policies. We will lose that mantle if we do not look after one another and get back to that greatness that made America grow.
