Ditching Satellite Math

Just did the math, if AppleTV had Hulu Plus then I’d only have to spend a few hundred every year + the 20 something a month for Hulu Plus and Netflix for my shows from iTunes that aren’t on Hulu or Netflix. 

Rubicon + NCIS + Stargate Universe x $53.99 = 161.97 a year for those three shows via iTunes

$13.00 x 12 for Netflix + Bluray = $156 a year

$9.99 x 12 for Hulu Plus = $119.88 a year

Total = 437.58

Thats all on demand, HD, on any device I have (360, AppleTV, PS3, iPhone, iPad, Mac)

VERSUS

Satellite 56x12=$672 for a bunch of shows I dont watch and stuck at my house plus no movies from Netflix.

So as soon as AppleTV announces Hulu integration (which they’ve got to amirite?) and my contract with Direct TV is up I’m jumping on the bandwagon.
