Reagan is historically the worst President

I had a realization today… President Reagan its actually quite clear in retrospect theworst President in US history. Let’s count the terrible policies that have screwed us today.

He uprooted the entirety of America’s tax system which led to this country becoming a debtor nation for the first time since WW1. The restructuring of American wealth toward the top 2% instead of empowering the middle class. The religious fundmentalization of the right. Diverting spending away from infrastructure toward the military to defeat the Soviet Union when all CIA estimates pointed to the self implosion of the Soviet Union within the next decade, failing to get rid of nuclear weapons between the United States and Russia a state that we now have to worry about the security of their nuclear arsenal. Arming Iran, arming Afghanistan, now two of our most pressing national security issues. 

Are you seeing… all of these things have added up to today’s America. 

Thats not to say the man was evil or even planned some sort of Machiavellin scheme. But ALL of his policies except for one (forcing the end of the Cold War sooner than it would have happend organically) has brought us to the brink. So, what this country needs is not de-regulation… it needs…. DE-REAGANIZATION.
