When I first came across the AIRpod I wasn’t sure if what it was a far-fetched fantasy or a hoax. But three years later, it looks like MDI’s compressed-air-powered light transport vehicle is going to be available in France by the end of the year, for just under $9,000 USD (€6,000).

This thing is amazing. I remember seeing something about this on the Discovery Channel. Even more amazing is the same company is working on an add-on that would compress air as you drive from a small wind turbine so that the wind blowing against your car as your propel forward would drive small turbine that would then compress air on the fly creating in essence a perpetual machine powering it self.
