North Korea More Than A Menace
The newswires are all aflutter over the possibility that North Korea will conduct yet another nuclear test either today or tomorrow. Their 3rd thus far. Each successive test yields a great megaton and a more successful and stable device.
President Obama ran his campaign in part on this idea that he loves our troops and doesn’t want any of them to die ever. However now he doesn’t seem to be thinking of the 26,000 troops massed on the DMZ. If North Korea were to invade their first course of action would most likely to be nuke the dmz, and our troops stationed in Japan. What forces we do have in South Korea are basically told that their only job in the event of invasion is to die slowly enough so reinforcements (the first ones to arrive would be from Japan) can arrive. There is no doubt the majority of those men and women in South Korea will die, it’s been our battle plan since the armistice over 50 years ago. And still President Obama & Co do nothing. They don’t bolster our defenses there, our troops there, they don’t send a carrier battle group there… nothing. Instead, magically, President Obama thinks that he will, where others have failed, somehow talk to Kim Jong Ill and make him calm down and hand over his nukes.
