*EXCEPT* if you’re using one of the more populous models of Android the Motorola Droid and it’s subsequent versions. Don’t you just love how fragmentation “isn’t” a problem for Android?

Google is shutting down Google Health →
This is really unfortunate. Of all the Google products out there Google Health was one of those that I saw transforming something that had lots of problems but no easy way to fix it.

Three new updates to Google Sync for iPhone and... →
chartier: Gmail and Google Apps now: support iOS’ “search on server” feature, let you respond to calendar invitations from Calendar, and support custom “send from” addresses in Mail’s settings. Pretty awesome that 4 years later Google is finally doing calendar invitations on the iPhone. Lame that it’s Google Sync not the built in Google support.

Have you guys seen this Verizon Android tablet commercial. The one where the sales person is like your wife will love the dual core tegra chipset? Well I don’t know about that dudes wife, but my wife? She has no idea what the hell that is. So I doubt she’d love it. What she does love is that my iPad can play Netflix thats all she cares about. Period.

Is Web Design Dying? | WebDesignTuts →
I think that for many web designers/developers (which I’ll get to in a bit) theme marketplaces take a lot of burden off us. We don’t have to spend tons of time developing a base theme, instead we can find one that fits our clients needs the best and then heavily modify it and developing additional features. I still charge the same per project, but now I take more home as it were...

Nintendo is a broken company
There is a serious problem with the culture of Nintendo thats just so in focus during this conference. They care too much about the past, how things were instead of the future. Concerts for a 25 year old video game’s soundtrack around the world? Releasing the soundtrack on CD that took up a good 10-15 minutes of the keynote. Nintendo is too focused on their glory years instead of true...

iCloud NFC Idea
Just had a great idea for NFC. Let’s say you’re at the grocery store like I am right now. And youre standing in line and you see a magazine and you say yea I want that issue. You swipe your phone over the issue and it’s added to a wish list of sorts on your iPad when you get home that you can purchase.

clientsfromhell: Client: “Aren’t you supposed to be designing my brochure?” Me: “It’s Sunday morning. I’m just buying milk because I ran out.” Client: “Oh, you did? 9-bits: A few interesting items from a development point of view: Not only does the browser go full screen, but there will be a JavaScript API for doing so The mention caching audio/video in an HTML5 application cache — does this just mean the cache is larger than before? “New process architecture” and Sandboxing — ie. WebKit 2 CSS3 auto-hyphenation WOFF support
